operation goose egg

Our goose Lucy had been laying eggs and we were set to pinch them!

There was only one issue.  It was getting late and Lucy was back in the house.  She put up quite a fight!  I was going to reach in but stopped when she was hissing like crazy.

We got a couple of eggs.  We will go back tomorrow to get the rest.

Wells

We took a little detour after Wookey Hole and ended up in Wells.  It ended up a very interesting stop as we loved the Bishop's Palace.  It's got everything we know about castles.  We were so excited when we spotted the portcullis.

Our first visit to a cave.  We were quite overwhelmed with the lighting and the music.  Added surprise: cheese in the cave!

I love Easter eggs!

I tried a mussel but I didn't like it.  I think I will stick with sausages next time at a BBQ.

Easter Egg Hunt

 We got all the gear and we were ready to go!

JM found quite a few 5 mins in!

 I was having a moment when I realised they were not chocolate eggs.  Mommy said Easter Bunny did this so the peacocks wouldn't eat them.

 Easter Bunny was good in hiding the eggs!

Ella found one but she was not impressed.

 I think we got most of the eggs.

 Uncle Alan spoke to Easter Bunny apparently, so he knew where roughly the eggs were hidden.  Clever!

We made it outside even though it was freezing. We took a look at our pirate boat.

Time to check out our other toys.

I walked the dogs, helped out the farmer nearby. We fed his sheep and I got a tractor ride!
