Eve and I decided to put together a fashion show for our parents.  We lined up the chairs in the garden and pulled them out of a tennis game.

 Here came the models.

Ella was a little shy and luckily Hannah was there to help.

Double Six Beach

Another jeep journey to Double Six Beach nearby.  The ride was just as exciting!

 We lounged around on the deck chairs.

 Then we decided to build a sofa.

And we wanted a mud bath for our feet.

 Beautiful and quiet Double Six Beach.

 We got more help with our sofa project and it had turned into a big mud bath.

And a rather delicious lunch at a beach cafe.  I can get used to this.

Lunch after our surfing trip was somewhat festive.  We were all in party mode.

 Charlotte was rocking to the music.

We were all waiting for the surprise. In fact we kept talking about it over lunch so it wasn't quite a surprise after all.

 We were all very excited.

Echo Beach

It was Mommy's birthday and to celebrate we were off to Echo Beach to do some surfing.

We arrived a little late and the waves were dying down.  Nonetheless we got a few good ones and had fun.

 While the beach is not your normal white sandy beach it's quite calm and special with a pretty Hindu temple on the background.  On the day of our visit there was a big ceremony and a big crowd of local people presenting their offerings.

It was getting hot, we cooled down in the sea and we had some kick-ass icy slushies made with fresh fruits.

It started to pour down on the way back but Hannah managed to keep us cheerful with her jokes.

 We got pretty wet in the jeep.  Tropical weather is cool!
