Finally we made it home. It's nice to be on the couch.

camping!
Mommy and daddy decided we were ready to go camp/glamping!
We decided Sai Wan would be a good spot as we wouldn't have to worry about bringing food. And the beach is really nice.
The walk to the beach was uneventful, with occasional whining from Ella.
We didn't really pay attention to the scenery but mommy thought it was nice.
It was hot! Taking a break.
The beach is just down the hill from here. Hurry up!
We made it! And this time we are giving our business to this smaller restaurant run by this old man. He's the nicest guy! He let us use the bathroom and shower room. And mommy could chill his wine in the fridge. What else could you ask for.
We went to bed early but mommy and daddy got to do their romantic candles on the beach.
The mon was still bright from Mid-Autumn.
We woke a couple of times during the night to scream (and woke mommy and daddy up) but we had some relatively good sleep otherwise.

mid-autumn celebration
We didn't get to do mid-autumn on the day because of Sophie's birthday, but we invited them over the next day. Dinner was fun with friends.

Meet our class pet geckos! I got to babysit them during the term break.

Awwww look at them! We are totally in love. It would have been an even better experience had I not knocked the whole box of cricket over on the second day we got them home. Now we are still seeing crickets in the house here and there. It's totally stressing mommy out!
Sai Wan
We decided to go to Sai King again. This time we are checking out Sai Wan, the first series of beaches go the famous Big Wave group of beaches. It is a 45-min stroll from the drop off point in Sai Kung Country Park.
We were happy to see some village buffalos.
On the beach we found a natural pool on the side of the beach. We spent the whole afternoon there lounging and catching fish.
Tents on the beach...that got us thinking.
And there are beach cafes there which serve icy drinks and food. Perfect!

We took a speed boat back to town in the evening.
It was a perfect afternoon. We want to go back again!
