last day of 2008

I woke up this morning feeling a little apprehensive.  The last day of 2008 and I have not learned to roll over yet.

I am very happy with my new sweater though.  And I can sit.  Who needs to roll over?

I might even just get up and walk.  Who needs to crawl?

donut time

I like Dunkin Donuts.  Well at least I like the donut cushion.

Instead of tummy time I now get donut time.

somehow it's more interesting than tummy time.

It's like a flying saucer.

Yeehaaaa!

I can almost taste donuts!

teeth?

I like sticking my tongue out whenever mommy and daddy try to check on my gums.  I don't know why I do it.

my new room

I moved to my own room 2 weeks ago and I got lots of new furniture!

I love lounging on my couch.  Where is the remote?

I am not yet very comfortable sitting on a chair yet.  Daddy!  Help!

I can keep steady for a few seconds.

red-hot Christmas pictures!

The Christmas lunch I missed.  I had been so hyperactive by 2pm I crashed and burned.  Next year I shall conserve energy.

Mommy and daddy unwrapped my pressies without me.  I got a Christmas outfit.  Yay!!

kung fu moves

Me demonstrating my chop kicks.

chilling with daddy

Tummy time with daddy.

I love my daddy....

..but I also love the TV.  I am torn!

I am sleeping!

i am sleeping a lot better these days.  There are mornings when mommy has to wake me...something about consistent wake-time...but I think it's more to do with consistent (and predictable) meal times.

Look at me.  Sleeping is not too bad after all and I am beginning to like it!

TV watching with Henry

Catching up on the world news on BBC.

Henry - I told you to go short on bank stocks.

Recession is imminent Henry.

I hope you have got some savings Henry.

Move over silly hippo.

I now sit up and play

Fuxing Island

Whenever I act up and not sleep I get to go on a drive.  This week mommy and daddy drove me all the way to Pudong, then decided to check out a new part of town - Fuxing Island.  To get there we drove on Yangpu Bridge for the first time.

It is indeed a very different part of town.  Was that a tractor driving next to us on the road?

Finally we got to Fuxing Island.  it's a very small and narrow island off Puxi.  To our surprise it's very industrial with warehouses alongside the river bank.  The road is not up for all the heavy trucks and something with suspension might work better.

We manged to find Fuxing Island Park.  It's actually very nice and tranquil.

It'd be nice if we have quiet parks this this one closer to home.

thank you for my new sweater!

Don't I look cute in my new sweater?

This could be my passport photo!

more legs

Mommy said my legs are almost good enough to make ham.  I am frightened!

Baby Eve

Baby Eva and I had been told by our mommies that we should play together.  As usual I was too busy playing with my foot.

Baby Eve.

What's going on?  What was it that they want us to do?

Perhaps I should see more babies.  Right now I am still a little shy.
