my party

Jessica was very hungry I think.
Oh! My cake! Oh wait, was I supposed to wait before I blow the candle?
I really liked my birthday cake. Thank you grandma for making me a wondering cake.

More candle blowing. Yeah!
Can we do it again?

I got to hold the knife this time! I must be a big girl now that I am 3.
I got to blow my candles 5 times.
Finally it was cake time. Yum!
Thank you all for you for my wonderful birthday.

fairground museum

Muffin the Mule. Apparently Muffin was quite an icon in the old days.
An interesting creature to have on a carousel.
I got a go at the art deco-looking organ.
Now how cool is that?
JM would have loved this. She loves pressing on buttons.
A giant music box.
Binary music!
I wish I had a horse.
A very cool retro ride.
This one is actually hand powered! Retro, yes. Lame, yes!!
Wanna ride, grandma?
A mini caravan. Cool!
A steam engine.
Mommy's favourite color.
Cho cho!

the perfect holiday shots

Big smiles, checked. Sunshine, checked. Wellies, checked. Beautiful grass, checked. Life is good.

duck shopping

It wasn't like everyday shopping! It was quite difficult to get to the ducks.
Our beautiful Mandarin ducks. Unfortunately the one on the right didn't make it. :-(
A gentle pat.
Whoa. Too many ducks to choose from.
Cayuga duck.
Had to pat him one last time before we take him home.
Happy and cruising. I hope they enjoy our garden.
