a new skill

my first beach day

I travel heavy.  My stroller takes up all the space but most importantly it matches mommy's dress.

My first visit to the beach and I slept through most of it.

Finally I was up!  What on earth is on that person's face?  Or am I looking a a fly?

Right away the kisses and cuddles flooded in.  I didn't know how to take it.

OK that's more like it.  Why don't they have shades for babies?

At least mommy brought me my sun hat. Still it was too hot and sticky.

I SCREAMED before we even got to the bottom.  I hate to admit it but I think I am a wuss.

I was still freaking afterwards!

At least I got lots of cuddles.  All in all it was a fine day.  Beach is fun!

Here is me acting up and fussing so mommy had to put me in my sling while she ate.  I often get droppings of different food on my head but it beats sitting on a chair on my own.

Then I decided to sleep when i was supposed to be swimming.  Granddad held onto me for an hour whilst waiting in the shop for me to wake up.

At one point I decided to take a peek just to see what's going on but I got caught!

Well, I figured I might as well wake up then to get my swimming done.

I am getting pretty good at it I have to say.

See!  A smile!  I am not scared any more like the first time.

The day must have been my longest day out and I loved it!   It beats staying in the flat certainly.

In a cunning attempt to get me to like my car seat, mommy decided to play with me while I am on it.  As I could see right through her plan, I decided to entertain her effort by giving her a number of my killer smiles.  Now everybody is happy.
