cooking class

We spotted a cute little guy on our way to our cooking class.
 He's actually not so little.
 Our "classroom" is in the middle of paddy fields.

 All the ingredients were ready.  They looked so pretty and yummy!

We first grated a couple of coconuts.
 We tried the traditional grater too.

 Next we extracted the milk.
Now that's a pestle and mortar!
 Coconut sambal.  Yum!

Look at the yummy dishes we made!  I never knew vegetarian dishes could be so good!
